The Bahrain Grand Prix brings the F1 season roaring to life this weekend with the drama and intrigue of Drive to Survive matched by the real-life scandals, investigations and leaks about Red Bull principal Christian Horner.

The hope is that this will not be a highlight with a more competitive season needed to retain many of the fans drawn to the sport in recent years.

Max Verstappen won 15 races in 2022 and an incredible 19 of 22 last year. That is an incredible achievement and of course the sport is more than just the race winner but fans can be fickle and jeopardy is a significant part of the attraction.

All the races and plenty more are on Sky Sports, with full listings of the times from every Grand Prix available in advance as part of our rolling Seven Day Guide to TV and Streaming Sport.

Sky’s streaming service NOW is also hitting the accelerator this season by enhancing its Bonus Streams offering – giving F1 fans access to onboard live streams for all the 20 drivers – complete with team radio messages – for every race, Sprint, qualifying and practice session this season.

The additional channels will be available only to those signing up to monthly as opposed to weekend or day passes which is a smart business move to nudge people back towards the more lucrative longer term renewable subscriptions.

Viewers will also be able to experience the Sky Sports ‘Battle Channel’, a split-screen offering focusing on a battle between up to three cars, excluding qualifying or practice sessions.
