Emirates FA Cup fifth round proper draw

The fifth round proper draw for the Emirates FA Cup has been made

The draw for the fifth round proper of the Emirates FA Cup took place on Sunday afternoon.

Seema Jaswal presented the draw which was delivered by former Chelsea and Liverpool player Glen Johnson during half-time of the Reds’ tie with Norwich City.

Liverpool or Norwich will book a home game against Watford or Southampton should they progress this afternoon, whilst reigning champions Manchester City will travel to Luton Town.

Everyone was eagerly awaiting to find out where National League South side Maidstone United would be heading and they face a trip to one of Championship duo Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry City.

The fifth round proper will take place the week commencing Monday 26 February and those successful will land £225,000 from the competition prize fund.
