The dismissed teacher has been making headlines in recent months over a high-profile standoff with his old school.

Just two weeks ago he rounded off the academic year - which saw him suspended, jailed for a period, fired from his job and dragged from the High Court by gardai - by unlawfully returning to the grounds of Wilson’s secondary school in Westmeath.

His latest attendance saw his contempt fine rise to nearly €89,000. The High Court imposed a daily fine of €700 upon him on January 27 for every time he breaches the order to stay away from the grounds of the school.

Each day his father would drive him to the property, where Burke would wait outside until he was collected at the end of the day.

It is these scenes which inspired a Father’s Day card being sold by Irish firm PalPack.

The card depicts Burke standing on the school grounds, with the caption: “Dad, thanks for all the lifts! Happy Father’s Day!”

The A5 card is currently for sale on PalPack’s website for €3.95.

It has left the internet in stiches after being shared to social media and Reddit Ireland.

Earlier this year, the same firm created a Valentine’s Day card and a Mother’s Day card featuring Burke that also went viral.

The Valentine’s Day card showed the Mayo man standing outside the gates of his former school, with the caption: “I’ll never ever ever ever ever leave you”.

At the time, Aran Freeman, an operations manager for PalPack, said it was receiving orders for the card every 15 seconds during peak sale times.

“It’s the bestseller without a doubt — we’ve sold thousands of them so far,” Freeman told The Times.

“We’ve been blown away by the reaction. A good few of us will be working over the weekend with the orders we’re getting for the Enoch card. The website almost went down a couple of times — it’s been crazy.”
