What were you doing last night? I went for dinner with my old school friends and afterwards went to the Stella cinema!

What’s on your tv series link? I’m re-watching my all-time favourite Paths to Freedom at the moment while also on season two of Mr Inbetween.

What’s your takeaway of choice? I’m mad about the satay dumplings from All Bar Chicken.

Who’s your broadcasting hero? I think Graham Norton is a supreme broadcaster. I would also watch Deirdre O’Kane present anything, there’s no one like her. Is there a question you hate being asked? “Is that your REAL voice??!” is a weird one that I get sometimes!

What’s been your most embarrassing moment on air or in public? I once walked into a film screening with the director of the film and his whole family, filling a weird silence with chatting and laughing about how much I enjoyed being in his movie. After I had awkwardly accepted a glass of champagne from the event manager, who asked several times if I was an invitee, I went and took a seat in the cinema and soon discovered I had been cut from the whole film. It was an embarrassing day for the parish.

Is there a motto or piece of advice that you live by? At the end of the game, the king and the pawn go back in the same box. Also, don’t mix your drinks.

Tell us a secret about yourself. I can’t drink a cup of tea if the tea bag has been taken out!

What’s your ideal date? I love cultural dates – like going to museums or theatre performances. A nice dinner is good too; personally I like to observe how a potential BF interacts with waiting staff … you can decipher a lot about someone that way!

What’s your guilty pleasure? Breakfast for dinner and/or cooking a full roast at 11:30 at night.

What’s been your proudest moment so far? I recently had a tough day filming and afterwards had to go immediately to perform a fully improvised 20 minute slot at The Paddy Power Comedy Festival and it went very well! Adrenaline is one hell of a drug.
