A hydraulic platform was deployed overhead and this allowed personnel to prevent the fires moving across the entire roof structure.

Club lady captain Ursula Ellard told Kildare Now that the pro shop has been relocated to relocated to the clubhouse downstairs.

She added that clubhouse catering is continuing as usual and pro shop goods can be ordered and delivered.
