Gordon Ramsay has revealed his horrific bruised torso after a terrifying accident and credits his bike helmet for saving his life
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay says he's "lucky to be alive" after injuring himself while riding his bicycle in the US.
The presenter and restaurant owner shared photos of his clothes being torn, and helmet crushed while biking in Connecticut in the US.
In a post on social media - he said the cycling accident "shook" him, but he didn't suffer any major injuries
In a Father's Day video on social media, the TV chef revealed a huge bruise on his torso - following an accident in Connecticut.
He's thanked the doctors and nurses who looked after him in the hospital - and had this message for cyclists:
"Honestly, you've got to wear a helmet, I don't care how short the journey is. I don't care that they cost money - but they're crucial - even with the kids..honestly you've got to wear a helmet. I'm lucky to be standing here."
