When Graham Norton was first told the premise for LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland, he had the same reaction that anyone would have when they find out what the show is about.

“Ostensibly, on the face of it, it’s people not laughing for hours,” he says. “So how’s that going to be entertaining or funny?”
