Netflix has several Halloween movies to turn on while you’re waiting for trick-or-treaters tonight.

If you want something nostalgic, check out the recent movie Time Cut, which follows a girl going back in time to catch her sister’s murderer. Another film, called Don’t Move, debuted at No. 1 when it was released earlier this month.

One movie that fans love is Hubie Halloween, which offers a less scary treat for the whole family. Though the movie only has a 52% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences still consider the film a holiday classic.

The description on Rotten Tomatoes reads: “It's October 31st in Salem, Massachusetts, and a town's eccentric, devoted community volunteer and the good-natured object of his fellow citizen's derision and meanest pranks, finds himself in the midst of a real investigation, for a real murderer.”

It has a high profile cast, including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, Steve Buscemi, Shaquille O’Neal and more.

Critics slammed the film, calling it juvenile. Brad Newsome from the Sydney Morning Herald wrote: “Sandler has done some brilliant dramatic work over the years, so it's a pity he persists in churning out such garbage-level comedy. But if Netflix keeps chucking millions at you, what are you going to do?”

Fans, however, feel differently. One person on Rotten Tomatoes wrote: “I can watch this movie at any time of year, not just Halloween, I love this movie and it’s the funnest as Hubie would say!”

Another said: “I loved it. I watch it every Halloween with my dad and we both agree it's the best Halloween film. You must see this.”

A third viewer penned: “I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It’s a goofy Adam Sandler movie with spooky Halloween vibes. Lighthearted and funny, what more could you ask for? Would watch again!”
