A season of utter domination from Celtic has resulted in fresh title glory after a 2-0 win over Hearts at Tyencastle.

There's no one like Ange Postecoglou' in the eyes of Parkhead punters and a second season of Scottish Premiership domination underlines the quality of the man in the Parkhead. A record of 31 wins in 34 games this season has been too much for the rest to handle.

Hearts were anything but generous hosts, however, Steven Naismith has his side side up for it big time but the call to red card Alex Cochrane for a collision with Daizen Maeda caused apoplexy among some. Celtic made it count and second half strikes from Kyogo and Oh secured more title immortality.

It was pure joy for Celtic players at the final whistle as they head to Ibrox next week where they can savour the experience of being champions at the home of their great rivals. And another chance to lay down a marker amid a season which can result in a Treble.

Celtic Never Stop under Ange and it's a statement with weight behind it as this team continue to leave their opponents in their wake.

The keeper has his say

Joe Hart has also been speaking to Sky Sports:

It’s a club that never gets bored of this and I feed off that.

It’s not a case of winning one it’s just win, win, win.

Right now, let’s just be a part of this fantastic atmosphere.

We win as a club, not just and 11, 15, or 16 players.

Jota up next

Jota tells Sky Sports

Unbelievable, another great championship for us

We knew it would be difficult for us but with our quality and desire we knew it could happen.

So happy for everyone .

I think 'we never stop' is a very good sentence isn't it.

I think everyone can see how good we’ve developed since last season and we just want to get better and better.

McGregor in title win

Celtic captain Callum McGregor has been speaking to Sky Sports post-match.

This club demand success.

You have to be the best team over 38 games and the best team have won the league.

So happy for all the players staff and fans.

It's a really special day today

There's the makings of a really special team

You see at the end there the quality. We could have probably scored another one or two goals.

It’s a dream come true for me, ging to be work everyday and representing this club, representing these guys. It’s an absolutely pleasure.

Celtic celebrate

The players are now donning some celebratory t-shirts and celebrating with their fans.

Even Cameron Cartre-Vickers is in amongst it in his crutches.

2-0 at full time with goals from Kyogo and Oh.

Ange Postecoglou's side have now won back-to-back titles.

A sensational achievement from Celtic with only one league loss on the way.

Celtic cruising into party mode

Pretty routine stuff now from Celtic, as is to be expected at this stage in all fairness.

Less than five minutes until they are crowned as champions.

16:04KEY EVENT

Oh yes

Oh Hyeon-Gyu knocks in Aaron Mooy's cross to make it 2-0.

Back-to-back titles now seems all but guaranteed.

It was a really smart finish from the striker.

Taylor's whipped delivery

Greg Taylor's cross is nodded out for a corner by Stephen Kingsley.

Celtic are shifting through the gears ominously now.

Hill clashes with Hatate

James Hill clashes with Reo Hatate as Hearts send a high ball into the box.

Nothing really in it...certainly not according to the Hearts fans who let the Celtic know exactly what they think of his tumble.

Ange calls for VAR

But it's all in good fun despite the earlier bone of contention.

15:53Jack Herrall

Injury concern for goalscorer

Just minutes after his opener, Kyogo is down and needs treatment.

He fell over in the act of scoring and perhaps it was then that he hurt his arm that he's now clutching.

Eventually, he is off being replaced by Oh.

15:51KEY EVENT

Kyogo fires Celtic into the lead

Reo Hatate races in behind the Hearts' backline to meet a lofted Callum McGregor pass.

He lets it fall across his body before firing it across goal for Kyogo to slot in from close-range.

The title is Celtic's as it stands!

VAR sleeping?

(Image: SNS Group)

One flash point from the first half that didn't need VAR intervention was Jota's touchline collision with Hearts boss Steven Naismith.

However, the Celtic boss joked that the tech should have been used...

15:43Jack Herrall

Starfelt on Clark collision course

Carl Starfelt leaps to get on the end of a Jota cross, clattering into Zander Clark in the process.

Not a chance the defender could pull out but the Hearts keeper needs some attention after that.

He's back on his feet after some treatment and thumps a goal kick up the pitch to restart the match.

15:38Jack Herrall

Buzz on Celtic bench

Plenty of subs warming up for the visitors but no changes yet.

A bit of lull right now as Hearts continue to attack, no signs of sitting behind the ball so far despite being a man down.

15:33Jack Herrall

Maeda and Hatate off target

Maeda has a shot off target as the second half doesn't quite start at the speed of the first.

Reo Hatate then latches onto a through ball but his dinked effort, that he jumped to make, isn't accurate enough.

10-man Hearts have a long, long way to go now with that late first-half dismissal.

15:28Jack Herrall

Second half under way

Right, we've had some good football, VAR drama and plenty of talking points.

Time for some goals surely as the second 45 commences.

The first 45's biggest incident

15:10Jack Herrall

Half-time all square

A fast start to the half was followed by a dramatic ending with Cocharane's dismissal.

It's goalless for now but you'd suspect it almost certainly won't stay that way.

15:08Jack Herrall

Celtic goal chopped off

Well, well. Celtic score from the resulting fre-kick but it is immediately chopped off for offside.

Starfelt got the last touch on it, but he had went a tad early.

15:06Jack Herrall

A harsh dismissal?

"Had it stayed a yellow card, no one would have complained," says Sky Sports' Andy Walker.

Maeda was outside the box and running in line with the edge of it, you can see why some may describe it as harsh, for sure.

That's Hearts' eleventh red of the season.

15:05KEY EVENT

Alex Cochrane sent off

Afte consulting with the pitchside monitor, Alex Cochrane is sent of for clipping Daizen Maeda as he ran through on goal.

Just a minute or so before the interval, this may well change the game.

15:03Jack Herrall

Cochrane penalised

Alex Cochrane picks up a booking for clipping Daizen Maeda as he runs towards goal.

A VAR check is now underway for a possible red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

15:02Jack Herrall

Rowles heads over

Kye Rowles wins a header on the end of a free kick but it's not the cleanest as it sails over the bar.

Decent covering from Hatate to do enough to put him off.

14:58Jack Herrall

Sibbick deals with Jota

Jota takes a heavy first-touch on the edge of the area and almost manages to pip Toby Sibbick to it at the byline.

A leg is dangled in by the Hearts defender but he remains composed and deals with the danger.

The Celtic winger then whips in an inviting cross to the penalty spot but Kye Rowles clears it before Kyogo can pounce.

14:52Jack Herrall

Celtic growing into game

15 minutes to go until half time and you get the feeling Celtic may finally be clicking into gear.

Hearts' attacks are being picked off now and Hatate is seeing a lot of the ball in the middle of the park.

The hosts are defending resoultely just now though, with goalie Zander Clark yet to be properly tested.

14:46Jack Herrall

Tynecastle in full voice

A 30-yard attempt from Reo Hatate skews wide. He's one of the few on the pitch you'd probably back to hit the target from there.

It's almost settled down this game, don't bank on it staying that way though.

Hearts' fast start has whipped up the Tynecastle faithful and they're right behind their side.

Every tackle is being greeted with rapturous cheers...or jeers depending on who makes it.
