Delayed kick-offs and call-offs have run riot up and down the SPFL and just two games out of 13 outwith the top flight survived the freeze. So far though every Premiership game has gone ahead - even if substantial delays were necessary to account for travel disruption. Now though all attentions turn to the capital where Brendan Rodgers and his team look to turn the screw on Aberdeen and Rangers, who both dropped points earlier today.

Neil Critchley has injected life into the Tynecastle side but they've still won just one from their last five and remain in peril at the bottom. The visit of Celtic is no short order but it's the kind of huge game that, if things go to plan, can revive your season.

Brendan Rodgers will be determined not to hand them any kind of reprieve. His team have won five on the spin since their draw with Atalanta and haven't lost since their demolition in Dortmund nearly two months ago.

7 added on

A decent chunk of time added on.

Surely nothing too dramatic is going to happen...

21:34Jack Herrall

Gordon magnificent double save

An exceptional double save from Craig Gordon to keep it 3-1 to Celtic.

Age is just a number, eh?

21:33Jack Herrall

And we're back

Well, that was something.

Back at it now for the final few minutes in Gorgie.

21:30Jack Herrall

A delay in play

In a day of delays in Scottish football, we have one at Tynecastle.

It seems the linesman has shot up the tunnel for an early bath — Sky Sports report it's a thigh injury.

The fourth official will fill the role for the final few minutes.

21:28Jack Herrall

Cross or a shot?

Either way, Bernardo goes close.

It just snuck over the bar, whatever he intended.

21:26KEY EVENT

GOAL: Hearts 1-3 Celtic

Musa Drammeh

Vargas wins it back in the middle of the park and gives it to Musa, who drives at the Celtic defence before his powerful strike, back across goal, beats the oustretched Schmeichel.

Some strike, that.

21:23Jack Herrall

Two Hearts subs

Yan Dhanda and Musa Drammeh are on for the final 10 minutes.

Blair Spittal and Cammy Devlin are off.

21:21KEY EVENT

GOAL: Hearts 0-3 Celtic

Adam Idah

It's all going to plan now for Celtic. This second-half display is miles better than in the first.

Bernardo shows great composure to slide it to Idah on the edge of the box, and the striker is similarly collected and slots it in.

Another home chance

Hearts have certianly had plnety of chances tonight.

Trusty is caught on the ball trying to play out from the back but his pass it knocked back into Shankland's path who nudges it to Devlin instead of having a go himself, from just nine or 10 yards out.

21:17Jack Herrall

Final two Celtic swaps

NIcolas Kuhn and Kyogo head off.

Coming on are Yang and Idah.

21:16Jack Herrall

Off the woodwork

A ball into the box is falling awkwardly for Anthony Ralston to deal with who seems to thigh it off his own bar.

Schmeichel was scrambling to get a hand to it before they manage to thump it away.

21:13Jack Herrall

Another Celtic change

Anthony Ralston on for Alistair Johnston.

20 to go.

21:13Jack Herrall

Hatate has a pop

Reo Hatate tries to curl one in the top corner but can't quite keep it on target as it flies wide.

The midfielder has been much more involved in the second half.

Hearts make two changes

Alan Forrest and Malachi Boateng are off.

Kenneth Vargas and Jorge Grant are on.

21:09Jack Herrall

Double Celtic swap

Going off are Arne Engels and Daizen Maeda.

James Forrest and Paulo Bernardo are on.

21:09Jack Herrall

All Celtic now

The visitors are knocking it about rather comfortably now.

A two-goal lead in the space of about four minutes, and no need to hurry things now.

21:02KEY EVENT

GOAL: Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Nicolas Kuhn

The style has officially been turned on by Rodgers' side.

They fly up the pitch on the break and Kuhn unleashes a powerful, clinical strike at the front post.

Wow.

20:59KEY EVENT

GOAL: Hearts 0-1 Celtic

Kyogo Furuhashi

Just like that win aganist Killie, Celtic may look flat but they remain as dangerous as ever, particularly when Kyogo is lurking in the box.

His first shot is save by Gordon but the follow-up is stuck in the net.

In the blink of an eye, Celtic lead.

20:56Jack Herrall

Subs soon?

The game is in a lull just now, that's for sure.

Celtic had to fight for their win against Killie last time out but they never looked as flat as this.

Some subs may be needed to freshen things up for the visitors.

Hearts are still playing relatively alright, but haven't created any chances yet as they did in the first half.

20:53Jack Herrall

Close form Kyogo

Kuhn loops a well-weighted pass into the path of Kyogo, who gathers it just on the edge of the box.

He has to spin on the ball and hold off a defender to get the shot off, but Craig Gordon sticks a leg out to keep the strike out.

If Kyogo dinks it, it's probably 1-0.

20:52Jack Herrall

Maeda kept quiet

"He hasn't really let Daizen Maeda have a kick," Chris Sutton says on Sky Sports about Hearts full-back Daniel Oyegoke.

20:48Jack Herrall

Back to it

Time for the second 45.

Here's hoping for a bit more urgency in this half for both sides.

'Critchley will be disappointed to not be winning' - Bonner

Ex-Celtic goalie Pat Bonner tells BBC Radio Scotland:

Neil Critchley will be disappointed that Hearts aren't in front.

Overall, he will be happy at the performance.

20:44Jack Herrall

As it stands...

Celtic would still go one point clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

With Hearts in 11th.

20:40Jack Herrall

Penrice a standout so far

The 25-year-old has been up and down the left-hand side non-stop.

Accurate passes: 16/18 (89%)

Chances created: 3

20:33KEY EVENT

HALF-TIME: Hearts 0-0 Celtic

Kyogo goes for goal (Image: PA)

Hearts could be three in front if the chances fell to last season's Lawrence Shankland and not this season's.

It's hard to imagine this Celtic side will be as tepid after the interval. Hearts need to start taking their chances.

20:28Jack Herrall

Penrice impressing

Spittal and Penrice combine well down the left-hand side, with the latter picking out Alan Forrest on the edge of the area.

His shot is right into a Celtic player though, and comes to nothing in the end.

Penrice is having a cracking game so far.
