Late Late Toy Show appearance for Roscommon boy
It is every child’s dream to take part in the Late Late Toy Show and on Friday night that dream will come true for one 11-year-old Roscommon boy.
The excitement is building for Josh Young, a Fifth Class pupil at Ballymurray National School.
He will represent Roscommon in the Toy Show’s first county parade.
Josh, who has a younger sister, Ellie (9), did a video and filled in an application form online. His video demonstrated his love of playing outside and inside and what his interests were.
He received an audition call during the mid-term break. From 4,500 applications, the Late Late Show team auditioned 90 children.
When he got the call asking him to represent the county in the inaugural county parade he couldn’t contain his excitement, his mother Michelle told the Roscommon Herald.
