There was excitement in Donegal over the weekend as movie star Bill Murray paid a visit to the county.
Murry, best known for roles in Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day, visited Caisleáin Óir Hotel in Annagry, with some of his friends.
Excitement grew in the West Donegal hotel and Murray was happy to meet staff and customers and stand for photographs.
He even called into the kitchen to thank the staff for his dinner.

Posting the visit on Facebook along with a number of photos, the hotel said, “What a gentleman.
"We had the privilege of having Bill Murray in for dinner and he popped in to thank and meet our entire kitchen crew.

No stranger to Donegal, Murray previously visited the county to film The Links Life, a golf-travel documentary.
