• Today at 14:00, Beryl continues to move west-northwestward and expected to bring life-threatening winds and storm surge to Jamaica on Wednesday, according to the US National Hurricane Center. All warning and watches have been discontinued for the Winward islands, however hurricane warning is in effect for Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, while Hurricane Watch is in South coast of Haiti from the border with the Dominican Republic to Anse d'Hainault.

• Barbados: all essential services (electricity, water etc.) have been restored. Full resumption of health services.

• Preliminary reports from VCT extensive damage in the Grenadines including health facilities on Union Island.

• Preliminary reports from Ministries of Health (MOHs) indicate that majority of “smart” health facilities remain operational. A few however sustained damage, while information on other facilities are still pending. o MOH Grenada indicate no major damage to the health facilities in mainland, Grenada. However, in Carriacou, the Princess Royal Hospital is badly damaged, while the Hillsborough Health Centre is functional. o The roof of Celina Clouden Hospital (Union Island) Hospital has been completely blown off but a few services are still being provided. • 3 deaths in Grenada.

• PAHO maintains its ongoing coordination efforts with the Ministries of Health (MOHs) in the affected countries. PAHO’s regional response team has been activated and are on stand-by for deployment if required.
