Ian Garry fight result: Dubliner back in action at UFC 292

Ian Garry once again won and continued his rise up the ranks when he beat Neil Magny in a dominant victory on in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Dubliner dominated his American opponent to improve his MMA record to 13-0. Garry was originally set to face Geoff Neal.

And Garry produced a stunning performance where he troubled his opponent with constant leg kicks.

Speaking after the fight, Garry called out legendary fighter Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson.

He said: "I'm 25 years of age and I'm telling you now, I need to prove myself as the best striker this division has ever seen. To be the best striker you need to beat the best strikers.

"Everybody has Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson on that list, so give me Thompson whenever, wherever for five rounds. I'll prove to you I'm the new generation of strikers in the world."

In the main event, American Sean O'Malley beat Aljamain Sterling to become UFC Bantamweight Champion.
