Seamus might be best known for his Everton and Ireland football career, but outside of the sport, he is also a dedicated husband and family man.
He has nearly been with his wife Rachel Cunningham for as long as he has been playing football.
The couple were childhood sweethearts and have been together since their teenage years.

How old is Seamus and where is he from?Seamus was born on 11 October 1988, making him 35 years old. He is originally from Killybegs, a fishing port in County Donegal.
He is one of three children, alongside brothers Francis and Stephen.
While his focus is on football, he initially played Gaelic football. He played on his local GAA team, Na Cealla Beaga and for the Donegal county team at under-16 level. He even won a Buncrana Cup in 2004.

Opening up about their long-term romance, Seamus said at the launch of SPAR's Better Choices campaign in 2022: “We went to the same secondary school, we were 15 or 16. I was a year above her and was aware of her for a while of course. How we ended up chatting and meeting, it was just like you do back in the day, you get a phone number and you text but I actually rang her.”
He added: “It was quite brave going all in with the phone call but that night we chatted for hours, it must have been about 4am. From there on in it was phone calls until late at night and seeing each other the next day at school and thankfully that carried on. Now we’re three kids later and happily married, all is going well.”
When did Seamus and Rachel get married?Seamus and Rachel got married after 11 years of dating. They tied the knot in June 2015 surrounded by 280 of their family and friends at the St Mary the Visitation church in Killybegs.
Several of Seamus’ Everton and Ireland teammates were in attendance, including James McCarthy, who was one of his groomsmen, James McClean and his now-wife Erin, Aidan McGeady and David Meyler.
Rachel looked stunning in a ruffle layered fishtail dress with a half-up half-down hairstyle and a sheer veil. Seamus also looked handsome in a navy suit and a white shirt.
How many children do Seamus and Rachel have?Semaus and Rachel share three children together. They welcomed their first child, daughter Lilly, in February 2016. Their second child, daughter Ellie, was born in 2018. Their son Blake was born in 2021.
