In many states banks are closed on March 29, 2024 on the occasion of Good Friday. In March 2024, banks across states will be closed for 14 days, according to the Reserve Bank of India holiday list. These include all Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, public holidays, and a few regional holidays

The RBI has categorised these holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

Good Friday: Banks are not closed in these statesBanks are closed in all states except Tripura, Assam, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Srinagar.

Banks will be closed in all other states for Good Friday.
