Jack Lowden shares what it's like to work with new wife Saoirse Ronan

Slow Horses actor, Jack Lowden has opened up about what it’s really like to work with his recently wed wife, Saoirse Ronan.

Spoiler alert – it’s all good things of course!

Jack and Saoirse first met on the set of the 2018 film Mary Queen of Scots, where they played each other’s husband and wife.

However since then, the couple has kept their relationship very private.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Jack shared what it was like to work with Saoirse, both as an actor and a producer.

Speaking about their time on The Outrun, he said: “We were both producers, as well as Sersh being in it. It was the most amazing experience.

“In particular, to watch her in that role. She’s utterly phenomenal. But then the madness of making an independent film is just… great fun and terrifying.

“We would love to produce more stuff, but we’re taking a beat at the moment, because acting is getting in the way.”

Sharing what it’s like to be married to another actor, Jack added how “wonderful” it can be as they understand each other.

“We’re quite odd people, actors. We’re strange animals. So it just makes complete sense, and I understand why there are loads of other actors with actors.

“And it’s really useful for running lines, rather than with, like, your mum,” he added.
