However, Nicola appears to be smitten with a new man on her arm, and that man is one Jake Dunn.

Jake Dunn is a 24-year-old British actor and producer.

He's best known for his role as Thomas Blancheford in the Disney+ series Renegade Nell.

How did Jake and Nicola meet?

It's unknown how Jake and Nicola's romance came about, but it's possible they met through one of her Derry Girls co-stars. Jake has starred opposite not one but two Derry Girls alumni, Louise Harland who plays Orla, and Dylan Llewellyn who plays James.

Nicola, 37, is 13 years' her new beau's senior.

Neither Jake nor Nicola has publicly commented on their relationship status, though it's possible they've been together since earlier this year.

The pair were snapped in a photo together at the premiere of Renegade Nell back in March.

The rumoured couple were also spotted by 'Gossip Girl'-esque website Deux Moi playing Scrabble in a London pub on July 20. How wholesome!

Jake and Nicola were then pictured looking loved-up as they danced around together at London's All Points East festival on August 26.

The Derry Girls actress looked cosy, wearing a loose cardi wrapped over her shoulders and nestled herself into her beau.
