James McClean is reportedly set for a move to League Two outfit Wrexham and will depart Wigan ahead of the new season.
The Irish Independent is reporting that McClean will depart Wigan for Welsh outfit as he chases League Two promotion.
Wrexham shot to prominence after they were taken over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and already have recruited a number of high profile players including Ben Foster.
And 34-year-old McClean is set to be the latest acquisition and will reportedly move for a six-figure sum.
Wrexham gained promotion from the non-league last season and are chasing back-to-back promotions.
The move means McClean will depart Wigan after returning for his second spell with the club having rejoined in 2021.
McClean won his 100th Ireland cap against Gibraltar earlier in the summer and has been a mainstay in Stephen Kenny's squad.
