's campaign on Monday admitted that it was true that the former president used a private plane on Saturday which was once owned by sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein. They said they were not aware that the plane was once owned by Epstein and it was rather an emergency situation as Trump's Boeing 757, Trump Force One, experience a mechanical issue en route to Bozeman.
The former Epstein jet was emblazoned with the slogan “Trump 2024” for the duration of the ex-president’s use.
According to the Miami Herald, Trump flew from Bozeman, Montana, to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and then to Aspen, Colorado, before a final trip to Denver on the jet to attend fundraisers as the Republican presidential nominee for November’s election.
This revelation came as new documents linked Donald Trump to Epstein and claimed that Trump called Epstein many times between 2004 and 2006.
The New York Times reported that Trump's campaign called its charter jet vendor Private Jet Services Group after the mechanical failure. The provider sent the Gulfstream jet and Trump's campaign did not know its previous ownership details. Now they will keep a watch on that and would avoid using that plane, they said.
NYT reached out to the Elevate Aviation Group which owns Private Jet Services Group but they did not respond.
"Mr Epstein’s planes have long been a source of public interest; he was known to travel with high-profile passengers, including Bill Clinton, Mr. Trump, Prince Andrew and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is now running for president as an independent candidate. Mr. Epstein also brought young women — and girls, according to some who accused Mr. Epstein of sex trafficking — to entertain guests on board," NYT reported.
Trump and Epstein regularly crossed paths and were photographed together on several occasions. In 2002, Trump acknowledged that he knew Epstein for 15 years and called him a "terrific guy".
