Jess Redden and Rob Kearney celebrated the christening of their “precious boy” over the weekend surrounded by friends and family.

The influencer and her former Ireland rugby star husband welcomed their first child together last August – a baby boy named Bobby.

Jess shared a series of pictures from the day that she captioned: “A special day for our [sun, moon and stars].”

In one, showing her and Bobby walking up the church aisle together, she has written: “Heart is full after celebrating our precious boy!”

The family looked tanned and relaxed, having recently arrived back from their holiday in Quinta do Lago.

Fans and followers flooded the comments section of the post, congratulating them and wishing their young family well.

One person wrote: “Fantastic pictures, hope you had a great day.”

Another added: “Gorgeous. Bobby is so handsome.”

One other person declared: “Congratulations to Bobby, all the mums looking fabulous” while one other posted: “Beautiful photos of little Bobby on his special day. I love his outfit, he's just adorable.”

In one adorable pic, Bobby in a crispy white shirt and navy trousers and wearing a pair of Nike runners, sits beside his teddy.

Doting mum Jess donned a blue dress from Revolve while Rob looked dapper in a dark grey suit and a white shirt.

Jess and Rob tied the knot in a lavish ceremony back in 2021 at the five star Trump International Hotel in Doonbeg, Co Clare, having dated since around 2013 and getting engaged on New Year’s Eve 2019.

Earlier this year, Jess opened up about feeling ‘mum guilt’ as she faced her return to work.

Jess, who qualified as a pharmacist in February 2022, had told her Instagram followers how she was returning to work in February of this year.

The new mum said that she wanted her son to see the value in hard work, although she admitted that the thought of leaving him is “heart-wrenching”.

In a candid Instagram Story, the 30-year-old wrote: “Mum guilt is hitting hard. I keep second guessing my decision to go back to work but I know (hope) in the long run it will be the best decision for the both of us.

“I want B to see how hard both his parents work as he grows up just the way I saw it when I was young.

“And I do love my job, nothing will ever be as important as B but as sad and apprehensive as I am for this chapter, I still feel grateful and hopeful for the return to work too.

“Leaving him is heart-wrenching but living for all the mornings, day and nights we will have together.”

The pair had their first taste of separation earlier today too, as Jess shared how Bobby attended creche for the first time – a big step for her.

“First day of creche today. It’s only one hour but feeling emotions I’ve never felt. I hope it gets easier. Still three weeks until I’m back to work myself but easing him and me into a whole new routine,” she said.

Jess then penned a sweet poem about their new chapter, confessing to feeling like "such a mess” as her son grows before her eyes.

“This day has come too soon. I’m anxious and I’m scared but I don’t think I’ll ever fully feel prepared.

“I’ll miss these endless days where it’s just you and me, It feels so wrong to let you go, my little baby B.

“You’re the best part of me and I’m your home, I hope you’ll always know, My tiny little baby, I never thought it would be so hard to watch you grow.

“And as you start this chapter, I hope you know how much you’re loved. I hope that you’ll be happy, my tiny blessing from up above.

“Maybe this is harder for me than you, I feel like such a mess, It’s time to say goodbye just for a moment, I hope you do love creche.”
