Dame Joan Collins, who celebrated 70 years of showbiz last year, proved age is just a number with a throwback snap from the 80s.
The iconic actress, 90, left her Instagram followers flabbergasted this week, and more precisely on April 18, 2024, when she took to the platform to celebrate social media trend "throwback Thursday", sharing a snap from the 1980's.
In this never-before-seen snap, Joan is standing alongside Hollywood star Jack Nicholson and Texan socialite Lynn Wyatt, amid one of the latter's lavish parties on the Riviera. The Dynasty and American Horror Story actress is sporting a svelte lacey white gown, her hair coiffed in a bouffant style.

"Oh my god, Dame Joan Collins, you have never changed!! Beautiful", one amazed follower commented. Another echoed: "you still look the same and fabulous as always!", while a third agreed: "You still look the same." One final fan chimed in: "My kids said 'mom, she hasn't changed a bit', they're right of course."
Meanwhile, one handful of followers questioned if the picture was truly taken at the time claimed, with a social media user arguing: "That’s the 1990s", while another quipped: "are we sure this isn’t the 90’s? I know the wigs and that definitely looks mid-90’s."
Joan has often credited her nutritionist for her youthful looks, telling Hello! Magazine: "Gabriela (Peacock's) advice is wise and wonderful, and her tips for looking good and feeling fabulous are always priceless." Gabriela also unveiled her tips for her client, recommending smaller portions of food, omega-3-rich foods, "unflavoured live yogurts without a lot of sugar" for better energy levels and berries to "help boost longevity."
More than three decades after the end of Dynasty, in which she portrayed Alexis Morell Carrington Colby, Joan's career remains successful as the actress has added several credits to her long resume. These include appearances in Footballers' Wives, Agatha Christie's Marple, Benidorm, The Royals and American Horror Story over on the box. Joan also graced the silver screen in recent years, starring in the likes of Saving Santa, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, The Loss Adjuster and Tomorrow Morning. She is also due to appear in upcoming films In Bed with the Duchess and Murder Between Friends.

The actor will take on the role of Sydney, while the A-list royalty will be portraying a character named Francesca Carlyle.
