Joe Biden was captured during an event held in honour of D-Day soldiers, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron, in pose that made some think he may have had an unfortunate accident.
The position sparked speculation on X that the president might have soiled himself.
The movement of the leader - whose son Hunter Biden is currently facing court - had X users's tongues wagging. One wrote: "President Biden just pooped himself. This is the exact same motion my toddler makes. Too bad it was onstage at the D-Day Ceremony in Normandy."

Another X user, @drrdwellington responded to @AJA_Cortes's post humorously suggesting that D-Day could now stand for "Defecation Day."

Judi said: "My take on it would be that he does look rather unsteady and confused, shaking hands with Macron and appearing to flinch or jolt slightly as the French President also pats him on the back.
"Biden then seems to assume that he should sit down, oblivious to the fact that the Macrons are still standing to attention beside him.

She explained: "Jill does bring her hand up to her mouth but it looks as though she’s holding it there to whisper to her husband that he should stay standing at this point.
"The ideas on social media that she is holding her nose wouldn’t make any sense to me. If the worst had happened (and I don’t think it has) she would never make it obvious or worse by performing a gesture like that. No spouse would, let alone a FLOTUS!"
