Kate Middleton and her mini me, Princess Charlotte, have served many adorable coordinating outfit moments—and their latest may be the best one yet. At King Charles's coronation, the mother-daughter duo wore matching crystal flower crowns.
The headpieces—by Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen—are made of silver bullion and crystal with three-dimensional leaf embroidery, British Vogue reports. The design is seemingly rooted in tradition, seeing as royal headgear has long featured motifs related to nature—including the Cartier Halo tiara, which Kate wore for her wedding, and the Lotus Flower tiara, which she has worn on various occasions.

It's believed Kate donned the crown in lieu of a more formal tiara because the ceremony was more scaled back than previous coronations. According to The Mirror, the finalization of Kate's outfit, along with the looks of other senior royals, was rushed. One source told the outlet that royal aids were working around the clock to tease out the details. There was also a bit of drama surrounding not only which headpieces the royals would wear but whether they would wear them into the Westminster Abbey before Camilla entered. As it turned out, Kate entered the abbey after her even though she didn't wear a formal tiara.
