Kate Winslet movie Lee has landed an official release date for UK and Irish cinemas.
Directed by feature first-timer Ellen Kuras, who was the cinematographer behind Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it's been announced that this biopic finally hits the big screen on September 13 after premiering at last year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Andy Samberg (Palm Springs), Marion Cotillard (Inception), Alexander Skarsgård (The Northman), Josh O'Connor (Challengers) and Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie) all co-star as various real-world figures who Winslet's photojournalist Lee Miller encountered.

Oscar-winning Mare of Easttown actress Winslet previously addressed what inspired her to take on the role of Miller, who changed from a fashion model into a war correspondent during World War Two.
"To me, she was a life-force to be reckoned with, so much more than an object of attention from famous men with whom she is associated," she told Sky.
"This photographer, writer, reporter, did everything she did with love, lust, and courage, and is an inspiration of what you can achieve, and what you can bear, if you dare to take life firmly by the hands and live it at full throttle."

In an interview with Vanity Fair, director Kuras recalled how her and Winslet's bond that was forged on the Eternal Sunshine set brought them to this project.
"I was like, 'Oh my God, Kate looks just like Lee Miller'," she said, remembering how she bought two copies of a Miller book and gifted one to the star.
Apparently, years later, Winslet snapped up an antique table owned by Miller and picked up the book again, leading her to ask Kuras: "Why was there never a film made about this incredible person?"
Lee premieres September 13 in the UK and Ireland.
