Katie McCabe Claps Back At 'Inaccurate' Nightclub Rumours
Katie McCabe has poured her heart out in an emotional video after being targeted with malicious gossip over clips of her on holiday.
The Ireland star admitted she rarely talks about deeply personal issues in her private life but felt compelled to speak out to address the misinformation being spread about her.
Katie found herself at the centre of an online media storm when photos of her chatting to a friend in a nightclub in Ibiza kick-started a vicious rumour.

It was her trip to Ibiza while she tried to chat to an unnamed woman next to the noise of the DJ booth that sparked the gossip.
Addressing the rumours Katie urged the trolls to consider how they would feel if they were in her place.
'I don't usually really do this type of thing or respond to these types of things but it's literally people spreading rubbish on social media and I can't really control what people make up,' She started out.
Katie went on to say 'But, can I just ask, to those of you who have taken hours and hours out of your life to try and cause an issue, like, have you ever tried to talk to a friend next to a DJ booth?'
'It's honestly been awful to see the rumours that have been spread. So, like, rather than spread the inaccurate rumours and gossip, why don't you think about how it would feel if you were sent those abusive messages for something that you didn't actually do.'
'It's not been nice, it's not been nice to hear or read.
Katie signed off her video indicating that the matter has been addressed with the social media platforms in question saying 'they are probably dealing with these accounts now that shared.'
