Keane Barry’s interest in this year’s World Darts Championship was ended by three-time champion Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace tonight.
Barry, the 21-year-old from Duleek in Co Meath, beat Reynaldo Rivera 3-1 in the first round, but the Royal County youngster lost to Van Gerwen in straight sets, 3-0.
