Meath native Keane Barry has crashed out of the PDC World Darts Championship after a round two defeat to tenth seed Gerwyn Price.
Welshman Price dominated the match, but Barry missed a host of doubles to make inroads to challenge Price at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Price won the first set 3-0, and Barry claimed a game back before going down 3-1 in the second set.
By that stage, the 22-year-old Duleek man had missed 21 finishing doubles.
Barry rallied in the third set, drawing level at 1-1 before Price took game number three with a double 8.
Price closed out the match with a 56 in the fourth set.
