Celebrity Race Across The World: Kelly Brook discusses gardening

Kelly Brook's real name has revealed as Celebrity Race Across The World fans have been left stunned.

The model is taking part in the celebrity version of the show alongside her husband Jeremy Parisi. The pair were planning their route to their next check point after starting in Brazil as Kelly told the camera that Kelly Brook isn't her real name.

She was born Kelly Anne Parsons but took on Brook when she started her modelling career. She explained that she has never officially had Brook on her passport despite everyone knowing her by that surname.

Kelly said: "My happy place is in my garden in my wellies, no makeup, hair up. To think that I was like a pin up and I do calendars, it's just all an illusion like it's not who I am at all." She added: "Kelly Brook doesn't actually exist, it's not even a real name, it's never even been on my passport or anything. In my mind I'm Mrs Parisi, Jeremy's wife."

For season two, the race begins in Belém, Northern Brazil, which is the gateway to the Amazon. There are be five checkpoints across the length of South America before they reach the finish line in the Andes, Frutillar in Southern Chile.

There are nine countries the competitors could be passing through on their journey, with Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru all in the north of the continent. Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy said they were looking forward to being surrounded by mountains and waterfalls.

Jeff said: "I want to be up a mountain, I want to be next to a lake, I want to be on a beach. I want all those things. I want to see a waterfall." While Freddy explained: "I actually said this to someone the other day, I don't want to be doing any really big climbs.

"But if it's to a waterfall that I can actually jump in, then I will do it. I don't want to climb up a massive mountain and then have to come down. I'm doing loads of steps here with a big weighty bag on my back, the last thing I want to do with that bag is climb a mountain, knowing that I've got all this walking to do after that."
