Counting in Athy and Kildare LEAs is getting underway this morning while count 4 of Naas and count of 6 of Celbridge LEAs will also resume.
Counting in the Newbridge and Leixlip LEAs will start after Naas and Celbridge have concluded. Naas and Celbridge LEA should conclude at some point. It’s been a good election so far for the government parties while Social Democrats have also claimed several seats in Kildare. While incumbents have polled well, there looks like there will be several battles for the last seat in some LEAs.
