Kilmarnock vs Celtic team news confirmed as Brendan Rodgers ...

15 May 2024

Celtic will be officially crowned champions this evening if they avoid defeat at Kilmarnock.

The Hoops know that a point will win them the title at Rugby Park and Brendan Rodgers will hope to seal all three at a stadium where this season they've had some real difficulty. Killie have beaten the Hoops twice in Ayrshire this term but there's more on the line tonight in a one-off game following their 2-1 win over Rangers last weekend.

Derek McInnes, meanwhile, has already secured European football for his squad and the party has begun for Killie, but they'll be desperate to avoid a Celtic title ceremony in their own backyard and will want to win to keep their own momentum going and finish strong.
