Lamine Yamal Visits His Father in the Hospital
Footballer Lamine Yamal visited his father, Mounir Nasraoui, at the hospital in Badalona, where he’s been recovering after being stabbed in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró.
After taking part in Barcelona’s morning training session with Hansi Flick’s squad, where his teammates showed him plenty of support, Yamal later went to the hospital to check on his dad.
Lamine Yamal was advised not to visit his father immediately after he was admitted on Wednesday night due to the media attention it would have drawn, which could have disrupted the hospital's regular operations.
Mounir Nasraoui remains in the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona with various injuries, though his life isn’t in danger. He reassured everyone on Instagram: "Thank you all for your support, I’m feeling better now. A big hug to everyone."
According to Mossos sources, the incident took place around 9:00 PM in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró (Barcelona), where the victim lives. By 11:00 PM, three people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the stabbing of Nasraoui, with a fourth suspect being detained today.
Like the other three detainees, the fourth person arrested this Thursday is currently in custody at the Mossos d'Esquadra police station in Mataró, awaiting a court appearance.
