The Late Late Show is taking an unexpected break from our Friday night telly, leaving viewers in a bit of a lurch this December 20. Breaking with tradition, the long-standing chat show won't grace our screens tonight, making way instead for a spot of festive cheer with 'Last Christmas'.
The rom-com film featuring Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke will fill the slot, unfolding a tale of eviction and new love with a "dashing stranger". For those looking for alternatives, RTE 2 is presenting Christopher Nolan's mind-bending hit 'Tenet' at 9:30 pm, while Virgin Media One offers up laughs on Romesh Ranganathan's Parents Evening, reports Galway Beo.
The comedian's chat show promises big names this evening with Mel B, Jonathan Ross, and Richard Madeley joining the fun. Don't miss Gogglebox Ireland later at 10pm for their take on this week's news and entertainment.
And if it's your weekly dose of chat show banter you're after, don't fret!
The Graham Norton Show is set to entertain on BBC One NI but note the later airtime of 11:10pm extending till midnight. Expect a couch full of stars including Ruth Jones, James Corden, Andrew Garfield, Colman Domingo, and Timothée Chalamet.
It's not unheard of for the Late Late to deviate from its regular schedule. Patrick Kielty, discussing a previous interruption, reassured fans, saying: "We're not here next week, but we'll be back on Friday the 15th with the star of Gladiator II Paul Mescal," during his sign-off last week.
