Adam Collard engaged to sports presenter Laura Woods
Love is in the air! The days of breaking hearts are in the past for Love Island star Adam Collard who has proposed to his girlfriend of one-year Laura Woods.
The reality star popped the question to the ITV sports presenter while on a beach walk in St Ives in Cornwall, UK.
The happy couple who are expecting their first child together announced the heartwarming news to their fans on Instagram on Monday evening.
Alongside snaps of the special moment, Laura wrote: 'And just like that… You make me happy. Thank you @carbisbayestate - the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special. What a summer x.'
Sharing his own array of photos from the proposal, Adam gushed that Laura is his 'whole world'- We didn't think we would ever see the former bad boy so in love!
He wrote: 'From dates & daiquiri’s to a Fiancé & a sprog on the way, our very own little team. My whole world. Always. @carbisbayestate where it really all began, the only place to do it x'
A host of celebrity pals took to the comment section to congratulate the pair including Piers Morgan, Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish and fellow Islander Chloe Burrows.
In one of the pictures shared, Laura can be seen holding her hands to her face in shock as Adam proposed on the beach before the lovebirds were seen hugging in another photo.
The presenter couldn't contain her smile as she snuggled up to her new fiancé while showing off her dazzling engagement ring to the camera, an oval solitaire with a diamond band.
The news of their engagement comes after Laura made her surprise pregnancy announcement, by sharing a host of glammed-up snaps to her Instagram.
Underneath the trio of pictures, Laura wrote: 'Entering the mummy era thanks to my love @makeupwithjourdan for making me feel like myself again! Come and join me at 9pm on @eurosport 1 & @discoveryplusuk tonight for all the Olympic chat you need in your life'.
The mum-to-be took to Instagram to share her happy news with her more than 700,000 followers.
Posting a snap of her French bulldog and a sonogram that she and Adam held, Laura wrote in the caption: 'Hey baby.'
