Lauryn Goodman has been branded a liar after making her debut on Wednesday's Celebs Go Dating.

The influencer, 33, appeared on the show and became very emotional as she talked about her past love life with England footballer Kyle Walker.

But a source close to Kyle told MailOnline that Lauryn lied when she told the Celebs Go Dating coaches she was romantically involved with married Kyle Walker before paternity scandal.

The source said: 'Kyle and Lauryn were never romantically involved. Kyle has been with his childhood sweetheart, Annie, since they were 16, and Lauryn is well aware of this fact.

'Any suggestion from Lauryn that Kyle is her 'ex' is simply false. Her attempts to create a different narrative show a blatant disregard for Kyle's wife and their children who are the innocent parties in this situation.'

The Manchester City star - who shares four children with his wife Annie Kilner - was embroiled in a paternity scandal earlier this year when it emerged he had fathered a second child with Lauryn.

He was dramatically revealed as the father of Lauryn's second child, 13-month-old Kinara, four years after they welcomed a son, Kairo.

Lauryn burst into tears as she discussed her difficult love life on the Channel 4 show telling experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson she will 'never forgive' Kyle.

She said while in tears: 'I'm so angry with him. I don't know if I will ever forgive him. I feel like I'm in survival mode.

'I am always stressed. I'm so used to chaos in my life and I need some calm. I go for toxic relationships.'

She added: 'People probably think I'm a home wrecker and go after people's husbands but that couldn't be further from the truth.

'I have been a shell of myself recently and I want to find Lauryn again. My level of trust in people is zero.'

The scene sparked concern amongst some viewers who said she appeared very emotional and maybe wasn't ready to start the process of dating at the agency yet.

They penned on X: 'I don't quite know how to feel about this. Lauryn has major trust issues and likely still has some feelings for Kyle.'

'A dating agency doesn't seem like something she needs right now. #CelebsGoDating',

'If she's that damaged where is the duty of care and why is she on the programme then? #celebsgodating.'

She said of her story with Kyle: 'I've known Kyle since my early 20s, we were friends at the time - he'd always liked me. But I knew he had a girlfriend at the time.

'He kept everything very separate from her. It is 2019 and she'd kicked him out, he is not with her so I thought: "OK, why not?"'

It comes as she revealed she has 'no regrets' following her affair with Kyle.

In her first TV interview since the news broke, an emotional Lauryn insisted that despite the furore she has no regrets.

Speaking on Monday's episode of This Morning, she shared: 'I can't say I have any regrets because my children are my world. They wouldn't be here, they wouldn't be the way they are...'

Lauryn went on to state that she was appearing on E4's Celebs Go Dating because it was 'healing' for her amid the drama.

The E4 programme sees single celebrities join a dating agency in a bid to find true love. Matchmakers pair them with non-celebrity partners and the cameras capture every romantic or cringe-filled moment.

Lauryn shared: 'I was umming and ahhing whether it was the right time to go on Celebs Go Dating. In one sense people were saying "you're not over your ex, Kyle", but in the other sense people were saying "now is as good as time as ever".

'I just wanted to get back out there and start trying to heal from everything and see the process... It was a really intense process so I was really nervous about it.'

As host Ben Shephard questioned why she was appearing on a reality TV show after stating she wanted to keep her children from further spotlight, she responded: 'I think I've always been, ever since I was 23, I've been in the public eye but my kids faces are private on Instagram.

'We live a private life in terms of people don't know what we get up to but in terms of the spotlight, yes of course, everything's been thrown into the spotlight.'

Last month it was claimed Kyle is considering taking out a harassment order against Lauryn to protect the four young children he has with wife Annie

Asked how she would talk to her children about the affair in the future, she admitted: 'I don't know. I didn't know I was going to have a second child, I will just have to navigate it day by day.

'I've got the easy story because his dad goes away and watch football. I will always have to tell them the truth but not right now.'

In July, Lauryn and Kyle were embroiled in a child maintenance court showdown.

The footballer slammed Lauryn's 'insatiable greed' after a judge ruled in his favour and added that the influencer used him as an 'open ended cheque book' and 'repeatedly threatened him in order to get what she wanted'.

Tensions do not appear to have lessened since then, with Lauryn admitting she has 'no relationship' with the athlete at current.

'Everything is dealt with through lawyers,' she admitted. 'It's really difficult. Kairo asks about his dad, it's just trying to navigate that. As long as I put them first I feel my conscious is clear.'

Ben then revealed that Lauryn did not want to discuss the court case for legal reasons, but shared a statement that had been sent in from Kyle's legal team.

It read: 'This independent judgement speaks for itself. The proceedings were never necessary.

'Kyle's offer could have been accepted months ago and would therefore have eliminated the need for added stress to all involved.

'My client and his family now ask that the media accepts his right to a private life as they navigate the next steps and attempt to limit the damage to the children involved.'

During the chat, Lauryn went on to admit that the situation with Kyle hadn't played out how she'd hoped.

She confessed: 'It's not how I wanted this to go at all. I thought maybe we'd be dealing with this in private but it didn't go that way.

'In the future I hope we can be amicable for our two children because they should come first. It has been really hard to navigate but I have to do the best I can for them.'

As host Cat Deeley suggested that it is often the women who take the brunt of the blame in affair cases, Lauryn mused: 'I understand what you mean and that's been the tough bit.

'But I try and ignore it and just focus on my kids because you can't do anything else.

'You can't force people to see what you went through. I know the truth.'

She added that she is not 'listening to outside noise' after being vilified by trolls.

Lauryn shared: 'I block it out. 'It's not easy to do but I have to figure it out and make sure I'm the best version of me to give to my children.'

Cat also pressed Lauryn on her comments about having no regrets, asking if - her children aside - she wished she had done anything differently.

Lauryn confessed: 'No one's perfect in life and hindsight is a wonderful thing. There are maybe things I would probably change but we are where we are.'

Mother-of-two Lauryn, who was branded 'difficult, unreasonable and demanding' by a judge during her child maintenance battle, often takes swipes at her ex and his family on social media for the world to see.

Kyle is now said to be taking matters into his own hands by contacting his lawyers over the posts, a source told The Mirror, adding that the star is desperate to protect the four sons he has with Annie.

Two law firms have allegedly advised him he has grounds to take action, with the footballer said to be 'carefully looking at options'.

In the pair's child maintenance battle last month, Judge Edward Hess slammed Lauryn for deliberately causing distress to Kyle's wife.

However, since the judgement, matters have only got worse for the footballer, according to the source.

'It has gotten worse with stories appearing every day and Lauryn posting regularly on her social media,' the source told The Mirror.

'It's become impossible for Annie and the kids to ignore.'

They added: '[Kyle] is being advised what his best options are, although he really doesn't want to have to take steps like this.'

Annie previously threw Kyle out of their £3.5million family home in Cheshire after discovering he had fathered a second child with Goodman.

But in April, Kyle is said to have been by Annie's side as she gave birth to their fourth son, who the couple named Rezon.

Annie announced in January that she was taking 'some time away' from her marriage but they are now said to be working through their issues.
