Virgin Media will host Thursday night League of Ireland football for the first time, as part of the channel’s latest round of live matches.

Three games will be featured on Virgin Media Two in May - including the showdown between Waterford and Drogheda United on Thursday May 23.

The other games will see Shelbourne visit both Derry City and St. Patrick's Athletic on May 6 and 20 respectively.

Earlier this year, VMTV announced it was doubling the number of live League of Ireland games in 2024, with 14 games now televised across the season.

They are also showing tonight’s (Monday) Dublin derby clash between Damien Duff’s league leaders Shels and reigning champions Shamrock Rovers, live from 7.30pm.

MAY GAMES ON VMTV (7.45pm kick-offs):

Monday May 6: Derry City v Shelbourne

Monday May 20: St Patrick’s Athletic v Shelbourne

Thursday May 23: Waterford v Drogheda United
