More good centre-forward play from Coburn as the ball into his path lacks a little pace. He does so well to get body between ball and player, shield it as it slowly runs ahead of him before smashing low across the face of goal from the tight angle. It beats Darlow but is narrowly wide.

Boro have a third! Dijksteel wins a header and Jones plays a one-two with Gilbert to get into a good position. His effort is blocked but falls kindly to Coburn who has the goal at his mercy as he slams it home. Big goal for him as Boro close in on Conway.

Clarke does well to win the ball and then plays a great ball that effectively puts Jones in behind. He has to go alone all the way from the halfway line but his last touch before reaching Darlow is too heavy. Darlow dives down at his feet and though Jones gets it up and over him, he's stretching and puts it wide. Really should have killed it off in that moment.

Boro have a second! Great aggressive play by Morris in the middle to make the interception. Barlaser plays it on for Coburn who then plays a lovely ball in behind for Burgzorg. He runs clear, shows great composure to come back onto his stronger right foot and then finish.

After fans give another chorus of 'You're Leeds and you know you are', they then boo Ayling's first couple of touches. He gives them a big smile which leads to laughing behind the goal that Brynn is currently in.

The Boro skipper, who was injured in the friendly against Heerenveen but was fit enough to come off the bench at the weekend, goes down off the ball. Treatment from the physios but they immediately signal that he needs to come off.

It's Dijksteel again, attacking the right flank. This time he squares across the box to Burgzorg who is unmarked on the penalty spot. His first effort is straight at Darlow though, and as it comes back out to him, he slices his rebound volley over the bar.

What a goal! Taking the ball on the right, Dijksteel turns into prime Messi as he uses runners around him to cut in from the flank, get into a positive position and then slot the ball home with his left foot from just inside the area.

It's been a long-mooted move that just rested on that agreement between the two clubs, so, if correct, should be a formality to complete it from this stage.

Sky Sports reporting this evening that Boro have agreed a fee with Bristol City for Tommy Conway, who will travel to the North East to have his medical and complete the formalities of his move.

Boro had to weather an early storm after a tetchy start, with Brynn called into early action. Leeds looked dangerous early on but Boro have managed to settle into it. Having limited Leeds to no more major chances, they ended the half creating a couple of half-decent openings. This one finely in the balance at the break.

Really tight as Bamford runs in behind and rounds Brynn. He looks like he's going to score but the flag is up for offside. Replay shows Clarke stepped up at the perfect moment and played an excellent offside trap. Brilliant stuff.

Decent move put together by Boro in and around the Leeds box, being patient to wait for their opening. Barlaser who creates it with a nice direct pass into Gilbert's feet. He swivels on the edge and looks to bend one low into the far corner but it's wide of the post.

Just wanted to highlight Aidan Morris who is very quickly making himself a favourite with fans. Like his debut on Saturday, plenty of aggression from him in the middle of the park tonight and a lot of energy. Able to show more of his composure on the ball so far too. Plenty of USA USA chants from the away end already.

Lovely ball floated over the top by Clarke for Engel to run onto it. With Coburn steaming into the box, the Dane's low ball across is behind the Boro forward. To Coburn's credit, he does really well to readjust, hold off Rodon and then turn towards goal before hitting one with his left. Wrong side of the post though, as it hits the side-netting.

Cross from the right is headed away but only as far as Morris who runs onto it and smashes it first time with his left foot. He wraps his foot around it well, to be fair to him, and Darlow has to get down well to save and hold onto it too.

Stoppage in play for Jones to receive treatment. During the break, Ayling comes out to warm up for the first time and receives another great reception from the Leeds fans who then start singing, 'You're Leeds, and you know you are, you're Leeds.'

Almost a dangerous opening for Leeds which ends but is brought back for a free-kick after Howson's lunge on Bamford. A nasty one that sees the Boro skipper be the first player into the book. This fixture is synonymous with red cards, so Howson now needs to be careful.

Joe Gelhardt seems to be causing Boro a lot of problems down Boro's left whenever Leeds get him on the ball. Boro need to be better on shutting him down. Very direct player with close-ball control, making things happen right now for the home side.

Boro appear to be settling into this one now. Leeds still look dangerous when they get the ball into the final third but Boro doing enough to contain them right now and getting more of the ball to be a little more adventurous in their own right.

Lurking on the shoulder of Ampadu as Leeds play it around at the back, Coburn gets the ball as is away on goal but referee Anthony Backhouse adjudged Coburn to have fouled the Leeds skipper in gaining possession.

Rothwell free-kick on Leeds' right floated into the box. Byram wins the header towards the near post but can only head over the bar with Brynn never troubled.
