Connacht

41' No sign of Max Deegan after the break therefore Ryan Baird remains on the field,

41' Ross Byrne restarts for the second-half of this inter-pro derby. Leinster start where they left off as RG Snyman completes the rip in the tackle.

Charlie Tector's try exploited Connacht's tame defending which will need to tighten up ahead of the second-half:

HALF-TIME

Another piece of trojan defending from Shamus Hurley-Langton is rewarded with a turnover penalty. Cathal Forde takes the quick tap and fires it into touch as the teams head for the dressing rooms.

39' Alex Soroka forces another massive turnover. Connacht almost got inside the Leinster '22 as Mack Hansen jinked inside the tackles before they were shunted backwards.

38' It has been confirmed that Josh Ioane won't return from his HIA, therefore Cathal Forde will play the remainder of the game at out-half with Piers O'Connor at centre and Cordiero at full-back.

37' Jack Murphy's up-and-under puts Aitzol King under pressure and creates the handling error. Connacht will have the scrum on the Leinster 10-metre line just over halfway.

Shane Jennings emerges from the sin-bin as Connacht return to the full compliment.

36' The kicking battle has taken centre stage in the last few minutes. Jimmy O'Brien fielded superbly moments ago, but his second attempt lands him over the touchline just inside the Connacht half.

Leinster's second try of the evening scored by Charlie Tector:

33' Having replaced the injured Jack Conan minutes ago, Max Deegan has also departed for a HIA as Ryan Baird comes into the action for the time being at least.

32' Josh Ioane has departed for a HIA as Santiago Cordiero replaces him. A brief re-shuffle in the back field sees Cathal Forde shift into the vacated out-half role while Piers O'Connor moves into outside centre while Cordiero resumes full-back duties.

31' That was a huge chance for Connacht as Jack Murphy and Josh Ioane combine to slip Denis Buckley through a gap. Alex Soroka rips the ball in the tackle and Leinster nail a successful 50:22 kick from the unlikely figure of Max Deegan.

28' Ross Byrne adds the extras from a similar angle to his first conversion of the evening.

27' TRY! Charlie Tector crosses the whitewash as Leinster extend their lead!

Its an extremely soft try to concede from a Connacht perspective - Leinster were shunted back in the maul but Jordie Barrett fires a flat pass to Charlie Tector who slips outside Bundee Aki and through two rather tame scrambling tackles to dot down.

26' The TMO camera angles do the Connacht winger no favours as he clearly propelled his shoulder into Luke McGrath after the kick. Connacht will be down to 14-men for the next 10 minutes.

26' Luke McGrath looks to go down the blindside where he chips over the top of Shane Jennings who subsequently shoulder checks the Leinster scrum-half. This could be yellow-card territory for the 23-year-old Connacht winger.

The opening try of the night came from Leinster's Andrew Osborne after a beautiful set-piece play:

25' Its Leinster's turn to force a big turnover just inside the Connacht half. Ross Byrne waists no time in using the favourable gust to find touch. Connacht contest the lineout again and Darragh Murray is able to flick it back on the Connacht side.

Jordie Barrett is penalised a couple of phases later as Shamus Hurley-Langton prevents the New Zealand centre from releasing.

22' A disappointing end to the Leinster captain's evening who hobbles off the field as Max Deegan replaces him.

21' Ross Byrne drills over his first conversion of the night with a routine kick directly in front of the posts.
