Ireland's biggest electronic music camping festival is back, as Life Festival 2023 will take place this weekend at Belvedere House Gardens & Park, Mullingar, Co. Meath.

If you have bought a ticket then this is the place to be for all the info you'll need about the festival.

The line-up

This year will see some amazing DJs play the festival including BLK, Carl Cox, Mall Grab, Skin on Skin, Patrick Topping, Obskür and several more across the three stages at the festival.

Stage times

There are three stages at Life Festival, the Main Stage, the District 8 Stage and the Index Stage. Patrick Topping headlines the Main Stage on Friday night wit his set kicking off at midnight and finishing at 2am. BLK and Carl Cox will also play the Main Stage on Saturday and Sunday respectively, with Carl Cox starting at 10pm on the final day.

Acts such as Skin on Skin and Mall Grab can be found on the District 8 Stage, with all of the performers on the Index Stage playing well into the night as the acts end at 4am on Friday and Saturday.

Life Festival 2023 site map Weather

Day one is to be a bit cloudy but still warm as temperatures are expected to get as high as 19 degrees. Both Saturday and Sunday should finally see the sun come out with temperatures at their highest to range from 16 to 19 degrees.

Essential info

Gates open every day at noon and close at 9pm, with no entry allowed after that.

Guests are entitled to bring one litre of spirits, 1.5 litres of wine or 48 cans of booze.

There is a full bar with several food stalls throughout the festival, offering everything from traditional pie and mash to freshly made tacos to keep festival goers fully fuelled for the weekend.

What to bring

A tent and something to sleep in are essential for those camping. Each person on a weekend camping ticket only is allowed to bring 48 cans or 1 litre of Spirits OR 1.5 litre of Wine for personal consumption.

It is best to set out a checklist of everything that you will need, with the essentials looking like:

Entry Ticket & ID ( IMPORTANT)

Medication, if required. Please keep it in it’s original container.

Clothing for all weather and comfortable footwear

Camping equipment including a sleeping bag and ground mat

An empty reusable bottle. 500ml or less

Refuse sacks for rubbish, recycling and any wet/dirty clothing

Banned items

Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the arena or other parts of the site may be searched

Prohibited Items include:

Smoke & Gas canisters

BBQs including disposable ones

Aerosols excluding hygiene/beauty products, Airhorns, fireworks, flares, Glass - all glass bottles must be decanted into plastic Illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’ Laser equipment/pens, megaphones, Nitrous oxide, sky or ‘Chinese’ lanterns Sound systems Spray cans, Tabards/high viz jackets Drones Anything that might be considered a weapon

All of the prohibited items must be surrendered or removed from the site. Anyone refusing may face Eviction. Surrendered items will not be returned.
