Liverpool FC, Jurgen Klopp and Mayo made the Late Late Show's topic list last Friday when comedian John Bishop was in the hot seat.
Bishop, who was scheduled to perform in Belmullet last May, explained how he had to reschedule the show due to a significant event taking place on Merseyside.
Following Klopp's shock departure announcement from Anfield last season, Bishop was asked to interview the ex-Reds boss in front of 10,000 fans on May 28.
Speaking to Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, Bishop said "I looked at my diary and I told Liverpool Football Club that I've got a gig in Belmullet on the same date.
"I phoned my promoter and said I've got a chance to interview Jurgen Klopp and how difficult would it be to move that gig in Belmullet? He said I'll phone one person in the village and he can tell everyone else!".
