Liverpool get lost in the Forest as City maintain perfect start
Nottingham Forest and Manchester City picked up wins this afternoon, and Man United won at lunch tim.
There were contrasting fortunes for the two teams with 100% records coming into today's fixtures in the Premier League .
It was a case of the curse of the international break as Liverpool were beaten by Nottingham Forest. The Reds conceded their first league goal of the season with Callum Hudson-Odoi getting the only goal at Anfield.
Meanwhile at the Etihad, Man City came from behind to overcome Brentford 2-1. Yoane Wissa headed the visitors ahead inside 90 seconds, but Erling Haaland set things right with his eighth and ninth league goals of the season.
Elsewhere, West Ham left it late to earn a share of the spoils at Fulham. Danny Ings scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time to cancel out Jimenez's opener.
Crystal Palace came from two down to draw with Leicester while it finished scoreless between Brighton and Ipswich.
Earlier in day, Manchester United took advantage of an early penalty miss for Southampton to cruise to victory at St Mary's.
