The shop that sold a €7 million lotto ticket has been revealed as one lucky winner is invited to claim their jackpot.
A Galwegian woke up a millionaire on Wednesday after the Lotto draw saw them scoop the winning fortune.
Now the shop where they picked up their winning ticket has been named.
The National Lottery can officially confirm that Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot winning ticket worth €7,028,440 was sold at Eurospar An Cheathrú Rua in Carraroe, Co. Galway.
The Galway winner becomes the 10th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, and the county's second biggest win so far this year, after Monaghan's filling station in Westside sold a winning EuroMillions ticket worth €1,005,000 back in September.
Officials from the National Lottery will be at the Carraroe store on Friday, 22nd November, to officially announce the winning location.
The Galway player netted an eye-watering €7,028,440 million jackpot in Wednesday's Lotto draw.
The numbers for 20 November's main Lotto draw were: 7, 10, 12, 19, 21, 32, and the Bonus was 9. National Lottery is keeping store location to themselves for now, and said they will announce exactly where in Co Galway that the winning ticket was purchased will be announced on Friday 22nd November.
The Euromillions draw this Friday, 22nd November will crown 100 new millionaires across the nine participating countries - the winners will receive an incredible €1 million in a special EuroMillions raffle draw.
