Dublin traffic LIVE: Major Luas Red Line disruption continues this ...
Good evening folks and welcome to Dublin Live's traffic blog.
Disruption on the Luas Red Line continues this evening following damage from yesterday's lightning strike. Luas said that service to Tallaght has been restored but there are no trams running between Red Cow and Saggart.
A replacement bus service is servicing all closed stops between Red Cow and Saggart. A valid Luas ticket is required to use the replacement bus. Luas tickets are also valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.
Red Line services are also facing separate disruption this evening due to a medical emergency at Fatima. Services are running from Tallaght to Blackhorse only. Luas tickets are being accepted on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.
