PICS: Irish singer Lyra rocks fun white look at The Curragh

Irish popstar Lyra is known for her fun and fabulous outfits onstage and the singer did not disappoint as she stepped out at the races over the weekend.

Lyra is acting as a style judge on Saturday and on the hunt for the K Club's Most Stylish Racegoer during day two of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival at the Curragh in Co Kildare.

Although she's the one looking for a standout look, Lyra could have entered the competition herself with her eye-catching all-white look which saw her rock a maxi dress with a thigh-high split and high-neckline.

The star's outfit is from Phoneix V, a brand she collaborates with often on her stage ensembles, and she accessorised with a pair of long white gloves and a feathered hat.

Chatting about her look ahead of judging, Lyra told the Curragh: 'I thought I'd leave my thigh-high boots and leotard at home and come a bit more classy and [I'm] loving it. This might be the new Lyra look, I don’t know!'

As for what she's looking for as a style judge, Lyra said: 'Something unique, something with lots of thought process behind it and someone who is not scared to test the boundaries of fashion.

‘I think fashion is about having fun with things so I want to see somebody and see their outfit and they’re just oozing with personality, grace and love for life.'

Lyra continued: '[Someone who makes me think] you know what girl, you’re bringing it, this is giving juicy to the max. Juicy is a good thing, if I say juicy it’s a good thing, so if you’re juicing it up, I’m ready for it!'

This year's theme for the style day is 'Power Chic' and the lucky person who is crowned winner will receive a three-night stay in a suite at the K Club.

The Cork singer was joined on the day by Marietta Doran who looked stylish in a white and green patterned dress which she accessorised with a gold belt and coordinating hat.

The three-day Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival combines horse racing with family fun, style, music, and food and this year runs from Friday 28 June to Sunday 30 June.
