Ruud van Nistelrooy will be in interim charge of Manchester United for the Carabao Cup tie against Leicester City.
The Dutchman, one of our greatest all-time goalscorers, will work with the coaching team to help plot a route into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, following Erik ten Hag's departure on Monday.
Ruud is guaranteed a rousing ovation from the Old Trafford faithful but the focus will, of course, be very much on defeating the Foxes, on the back of a convincing win over Barnsley in our previous outing in this season's competition.
It will be interesting to see which line-up Ruud selects for the 19:45 GMT kick-off, with checks likely to take place on Noussair Mazraoui, after he came off during the 2-1 defeat at West Ham United.
Alejandro Garnacho has been playing on the left, with Marcus Rashford on the right, while Lisandro Martinez has also appeared at left back, at times, recently.
Former Foxes favourite Jonny Evans was fit enough to make the bench at the London Stadium but did not come on.
It is not anticipated that any of the players who have been absent due to injury will be available, but look out for the team being announced on club channels.
Luke Shaw is being treated carefully with his recovery from the injury that has kept him out this season.
LEICESTER'S TEAM NEWS
Manager Steve Cooper could reshuffle his pack in the competition and, while it would be no surprise to see him limit the changes, the fact a key away fixture at Ipswich Town awaits at the weekend may influence his thinking.
Jannik Vestergaard is in contention to return at the heart of the defence.
"He had a bit of a stutter with his ankle," said Cooper. "He's back with the group. He's an experienced player."
Jakub Stolarczyk, Victor Kristiansen, Hamza Choudhury and Patson Daka have all been on the sidelines.
"Victor will miss out," commented Cooper. "But his injury is not as bad as first feared. It's going to be days and weeks, rather than longer than that."
Danny Ward could replace Mads Hermansen in goal, after saving three penalties in the shootout win over Walsall in the previous round.
