Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe could make his first appearance for the club in more than a year this weekend against Reading FC.
The centre-back has been out with a back problem since July but has returned to first-team training this week, according to our sister site the Manchester Evening News (MEN).
The 25-year-old has not played for the Reds since May 2021 when he was part of the side that lost the Europa League final to Villarreal.

Tuanzebe, who has had three loans with Aston Villa, spent the second half of last season on loan in Italy with Serie A side Napoli but only ended up making two appearances.
The MEN's report adds Tuanzebe was pictured jogging and taking part in rondos as United's squad prepare for Wednesday night's Carabao Cup semi-final meeting with Nottingham Forest at the City ground before Saturday night's clash with Reading in the FA Cup fourth round.
Meanwhile, midfielder Jadon Sancho has also been pictured in training with the rest of the first-team squad this week. The 22-year-old has not played since the 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the Premier League at the end of October but could, like Tuanzebe, feature against Royals this weekend.
BerkshireLive will have full coverage of the FA Cup fourth round tie between Manchester United and Reading on Saturday. Our live blog starts at 6pm, with kick-off at 8pm.
