RTE viewers all say Marti Pellow 'gets better with age' as he appears ...

RTE viewers were sent into a frenzy as Marti Pellow appeared on the Late Late show tonight.

Marti enjoyed great success with Wet Wet Wet throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Hits included Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes and Good Night Girl.

Their greatest hit to date was Love Is All Around which featured on the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral.

It was a huge international success and spent 15 weeks at the top the British charts.

Marti came into the RTE studio tonight to perform some of his greatest hits and chat to Patrick Kielty.

The Scottish native is back with his brand-new ‘Popped In Souled Out’ arena tour in 2024, making a stop off at 3Arena on March, 10, 2024 with the RTE Concert Orchestra.

At the end of Marti's segment on the show, they played a hilarious game with some super fans.

Three women got the chance to win tickets to his Dublin gigs by answering some trivia question on Marti.

First up was Sharon who said she'd "be very wet" to see Marti again.

Fortunately, she nabbed tickets after giving Marti's correct birthday month.

Jessica was next and again answered the question right and was on her merry way.

However, last up was Joanne who got a slightly harder question as Patrick asked her what Irish hit prevented Love Is All Around Us becoming number 1 in Ireland.

The Tallaght native didn't know the answer and therefore was soaked with water to make her 'Wet, Wet, Wet'.

Marti, Patrick and everyone in the studio were left in stitches laughing.

'LOVELY VOICE'

Joanne did end up getting tickets to the main event and was happy as Larry.

RTE viewers all loved Marti on the show and said he "still has it".
