Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald at Queen Maeve Square last Friday afternoon with Dermot McNally, Cllr Thomas Healy, candidate Chris MacManus and Cllr Arthur Gibbons.
Mary Lou McDonald displayed steely determination during a brief visit to Sligo on Friday afternoon last as she tries to do all she can to get her party into power despite some chilly figures in pre-election polls.
At present she is behind both Simon Harris (FG) and Micheal Martin (FF) in the party leader satisfaction ratings on 31 per cent with Mr Harris on 50 per cent and Mr Martin on 45 per cent.
