Maura Higgins Shows Support For Love Island Co-Star Tommy Fury
Maura Higgins was among the stars in attendance at the Misfits boxing event in Manchester and she left very little to the imagination with a seriously risqué outfit.
Maura's former fellow Love Island star Tommy Fury was the headline contest at the boxing event, going up against YouTube-star, KSI.
Maura and Tommy were both on the fifth season of the ITV2 reality dating show, with Maura even trying to seduce the boxer at the start of their time in the villa.
Tommy stayed loyal to Manchester beauty Molly Mae Hague, with the pair finishing the season in second place, and now sharing baby Bambi.
Since the fifth season, Maura's relationship with the pair has remained strong, with the Longford woman recently likening Tommy to 'a brother.'
Showing her support on Saturday night, Maura pulled off a very daring number -- taking to the fight night in a very risqué black and red number.
The 32-year-old donned a black dress with a fully see-through torso, which featured strategically place red poppies.
There was a mixed bag of reactions for Maura's daring number, with fans taking to social media to have their say.
One said: @MauraHiggins just saw your dress you wore last night at boxing ppv OMFG bring the house... you look f***ing insane with that radiant beauty.'
Another contradicted: 'I hope she burns this outfit. Love her but this is awful.'
A third branded the outfit 'incredibly daring.'
It comes not long after Maura was hailed 'a natural,' by her Irish movie producer ahead of her big screen debut next year.
The star has dipped her toes into a range of new fields in the entertainment and creative industry, trying her hand at modelling, TV presenting, and even celebrity figure skating since her departure from the villa.
Maura is set to make a major career change as she is set to play a role in new comedy flick The Spin, with filming taking place in Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Teasing fans what they can expect from her acting debut, the film's producer Edward McCaffrey called Maura 'perfect for the role'.
'She was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. For someone who's never acted before, to see her hit her cues, hit her marks, and give the same performance every take, was excellent.'
He added that Maura played the role 'exactly how she was directed,' and noted she was 'absolutely fantastic on set.'
