Mayo's Aidan O'Shea And Fiancée One Step Closer To Wedding

As soon as you pop the question you can bet the big day will arrive before you know it and for Mayo's Aidan O'Shea and fiancée Kristin McKenzie, time is flying.

It seems like yesterday that Aidan popped the question in the beautiful surroundings of Ashford Castle in Mayo.

The GAA player found love with Kristin McKenzie Vass in 2019 and the pair have only been going from strength to strength over the years.

However, before the big day, there is one important task that all couples must undertake....and no this is not organising the hen and stag do!

The 'little green book' is a must for all. Yes, the one and only marriage license, an important document that permits you by law to say 'I do,' but also asks you some unusual questions beforehand like 'Are you related?'

While we don't know what the date of their wedding is the last time the couple spoke to EVOKE was in October, Aidan told us they were hoping for some time this year.

It seems that Aidan managed to keep his head screwed on when making one of the biggest purchases of his life.

Rather than splashing out on a ring that might not go down well with his soon-to-be fiancée, he used a promise ring to seal the deal, before he and Kristin went ring shopping together.

A clearly thrilled Kristin shared pictures of her sparkler from luxury jewellery designer Nigel O'Reilly which has a beautiful pear-shaped diamond in a yellow gold band. The bespoke piece was created especially, and it's stunning in its simplicity.
